Netflix jest w trakcie walki ze współdzieleniem kont na swojej platformie. Ma to dotyczyć ponad 100 milionów użytkowników. W celu weryfikacji miejsca zamieszkania użytkowników, platforma będzie wymagać, aby co najmniej raz na 31 dni oglądano produkcję na jednym koncie poprzez przypisaną do tego domu sieć Wi-Fi.
